Hey Key Clubbers! There is a meeting today at lunch in room 407.

There will be a GSA meeting this Friday at lunch in room 223. All members be sure to attend.

Attention all 10th and 11th graders! Do you have a solid GPA? Are you interested in joining National Honor Society?  Do you want to enhance your high school experience by developing your leadership and participating in service projects?

NHS combines character, leadership, scholarship, and service! If you are interested in learning how to apply, please attend an informational meeting on Monday, May 1st at 1:45pm in room 321.

Fishes, & eels, & crabs, oh my! Come see the Little Mermaid this weekend- Friday, April 28- 3:30 or 7:30pm and Saturday, April 29- 2:30 or 7:30pm. Come join the fun!

Attention seniors, if you have received a scholarship that is not part of the local scholarship program and you would like to be recognized at senior awards- please contact Mrs. Barcoma in the counseling office no later than Tuesday May 2 at 2:45pm with the information.

Hey FFA members looking to be a chapter officer? Well applications will be available online on the Escondido FFA website. They are due on May 5th, interviews are on May 8th, and elections are on May 10th. And FFA members don’t forget to come and vote and receive FFA points.

Want to learn more about what engineers do?  You’re invited to come listen to Patrick Cabral (EHS Alumni ’95) give an overview of engineering as a career and to give you some insight into the exciting world of rockets on Thursday, May 4th in the College & Career Center.  Patrick works for Aerojet Rocketdyne in Redmond WA. building rockets for various launch, space, and defense applications.  Come hear what engineers do in the real world, how the skills you are learning in high school will help you in a future career, and what kind of rockets are used that impact your life every day or are used to explore the solar system.  Pick up a pass to attend today!

Attention All Senior Varsity Athletes!  Please come to a mandatory meeting about our senior athletic banquet today, April 27 at the beginning of lunch in the gym.  Any questions see Coach Bridges or Coach Becker

Plan on getting a job this summer?  The College & Career Center will be hosting 3 work readiness workshops starting May 1st.  Each class will be held on a Monday starting at 1:45pm.   May 1st will be the Resume Writing Workshop, May 8th will be the Job Application Workshop and May 15th with be the Interviewing Skills Workshop.   You can sign up to attend all three classes or just one. There is a limited amount of seats for each of the three workshops, so sign up today in the College & Career Center to reserve your seat.

The School Pantry will continue to take place at EHS until May 4th .The Pantry will be moved to Orange Glen High School for the 2017-2018 school year. EHS parents can still go to OGHS and receive pantry items.
