Attention Black Student Union members TURN YOUR BLACK VIOLIN Field trip forms to Mrs. Atkins by today at the Black Student Union meeting at lunch in room 403 or you will not be able to attend.

Key Clubbers, there is a meeting today during lunch in room 407.

Are you a fan of travel? Interested in seeing the world? Talk to ASB teacher Mrs. Weiner about the 2019 trip to Australia and New Zealand for more information.

Want to play softball this season? Tryouts start this Saturday the 17th from 9-11:30 and continue Monday and Tuesday from 3:30-5:30. Don’t forget to get cleared with the cashier.

Track and Field practice begins Tuesday, February 20 at 3:00pm on the track.  You must be cleared to participate.  If you have any questions please see Coach Boozer.

Any boy interested in trying out for Boy’s Volleyball, the tryout will be Monday at 12:30 in the main gym. Don’t forget to get cleared with the cashier.

Hey cougars! The 77 out of 100 Club will be having a movie night in room 403 today, February 15 after school. Snacks and drinks will be provided so be sure to bring a friend and have some fun.

Do you enjoy writing stories for fun? Well if you do, join the Creative Writing Club! First meeting is today the 15th in room 425 during lunch!

Cougars, there is now a 2nd location for after school Super Snack. Remember any student can get a meal after school. Come to either the Main Cafeteria OR the Cougar Café (across from the gym).

Are you looking for an opportunity to show your leadership abilities here at school?  We are looking for up to 20 students to attend Camp LEAD, a leadership program and retreat from February 22-24. Camp LEAD represents Leadership for Equity, Access, and Diversity and is a 3-day (2-night) leadership and human relations development interactive program.  It is meant to heighten interpersonal and personal awareness so as to improve relationships among students on campus.  The retreat is free for all students and transportation will be provided.  Please see Mr. Domingo in the AP office ASAP if you are interested.

Boys Tennis Tryouts are Tuesday-Friday @ 3pm in the tennis courts. Be sure to be cleared with the cashier.

Seniors! It’s time to buy your Grad Nite tickets for Magic Mountain, cost is $160.00. Sales will be Saturdays in front of the gym from 9-11am.

Interested in a low cost computer or internet? Applications for computers are available in the front office. Computers are available to low-income families with no other criteria. The deadline to turn in applications is Friday, February 23rd so get yours today!

Attention Seniors…Are you planning on attending Palomar College and need help with your application? There will be a Palomar College Application Workshop every Thursday until February 22nd during extended and at lunch in the College & Career Center. Staff will be available to assist students hands-on with applying for Palomar College. Once you have applied and received your Palomar ID you then can sign up for the Palomar College field trip in the College and Career Center. The field trip will included an orientation with Palomar staff, a college campus tour, course selection review and a free lunch. The deadline to sign up for the field trip is Feb 23.
